RULES
Thanks for choosing to join the Christian Student Forum. This is a relaxed, safe and Spirit-filled Christian community where we share the challenges, opportunities and pleasures of learning as a Christian. Our aim to grow a Christ-honouring online community where you can sometime retreat from the pressure and clutters of the student life. When you come into the forum, expect to be encouraged and refreshed in the company of other Christian students.
1. Who is qualified to join?
- You must have a personal and practical relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are not a Christian in this way, we encourage you to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.
- You must be a student. This forum is primarily for students engaged in undergraduate-level studies in colleges and universities. If you are at other levels, or if you do other types of studies, including self-tuition and correspondence courses, you are also welcome to join us.
2. Biblical Christian Perspectives
The Lord has given us the Word as the only absolute standard to direct and correct our opinions, beliefs, and points of view. We encourage you to develop your perspectives, opinions and points of view from the Word. A simple way to start is to and discover on your own what the Bible says about a topic, and then develop your viewpoints around clear biblical principles.
3. What You May Post
There is no restriction on what you may post within the confines of your experiences as a Christian student. Post questions, answers, testimonies, reports, observation, problems with your courses, solutions to problems in your courses, news and information that you think will be of interest to other forum members. Don’t feel discouraged if your post doesn’t receive as much comments as you would expect. If you have nothing to post or say, it is ok. Simply enjoy what is available in the forum.
4. What You May Not Post
- Don’t post spam, adverts or links designed to sell stuff. Don’t use the forum to request for donations or financial assistance. Don’t post copyrighted materials without necessary permissions and due credit.
- Don’t request or give out personal confidential information in this forum.
- Don’t post any illegal material or engage in or promote illegal or fraudulent activity in any form in this forum. The administrators of this forum cooperate with relevant authorities to track down offenders.
5. Politeness and language
Be polite to members. Don’t put down or shout at other friends, or call them names simply because they disagree with you. Use language that is clean and honourable to the Lord.
6. Deletion of messages
The moderators reserve the right to delete posts that do not contribute to the goal of this forum. We also reserve the right to ban any member who repeatedly disregards forum rules.
Enjoy your participation in the forum.
